Hurricane Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ½ cup bananas, sliced
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries
  • ½ cup strawberry yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon powdered lemonade mix
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • 2 fluid ounces vodka
  • 2 fluid ounces rum
  • 2 fluid ounces whiskey
  • 2 fluid ounces cherry vodka

Directions

Put strawberries, bananas, raspberries, yogurt, lemonade mix, and ice cubes into a blender. Add vodka, rum, whiskey, and cherry vodka. Blend the ingredients until smooth.

Serve in tall smoothie glass with a straw.

Creole Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon, cut into 4 wedges
  • 5 leaves fresh mint
  • ¼ fluid ounce agave nectar
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1 ½ fluid ounces spiced rum
  • 1 fluid ounce club soda, or as needed

Directions

Mix three lemon wedges, mint leaves, and agave nectar in a lowball glass until fragrant.

Fuse crushed ice and rum, and top it with club soda. Pour the mixture into a cocktail shake and blend.

Serve in a lowball glass. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and wedge of lemon.

Vieux Carre Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups ice
  • 1 fluid ounce rye whiskey
  • 1 fluid ounce cognac
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • ¹⁄8 ounce Benedictine liqueur
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 dash Peychaud’s bitters
  • 1 lemon twist

Directions

Fill up a cocktail glass with some ice. Pour rye, cognac, vermouth, and Benedictine over the ice. Shake in Angostura and Peychaud’s bitters.

Stir it well and pour into a short cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.

Bohemian-Style Absinthe Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2 fluid ounces absinthe
  • 4 fluid ounces cold water, or to taste

Directions

Place a sugar cube on an absinthe spoon and set it over a glass. Pour absinthe over the sugar cube into the glass.

Caramelize the sugar cube for 10 to 15 seconds by lighting it and pour water until it dissolves completely.

Put it in the drink and stir. The drink will turn opaque.

Cocktail à la Louisiane Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups ice
  • 1 fluid ounce rye whiskey
  • ¾ fluid ounce Benedictine liqueur
  • ¾ fluid ounce sweet vermouth
  • 3 dashes aromatic bitters (such as Peychaud’s)
  • 1 maraschino cherry for garnish

Directions

Put ice in a cocktail shaker. Add whiskey, Benedictine, sweet vermouth, anise liqueur, and bitters. Cover and shake well to mix.

Stir and pour into a cocktail glass. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

Ramos Gin Fizz Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups ice
  • 2 fluid ounces gin
  • 2 fluid ounces cold half-and-half
  • ½ fluid ounce lemon juice
  • ½ fluid ounce lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 dashes orange flower water
  • 1 dash vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 fluid ounce cold club soda, or as needed

Directions

First, fill a cocktail shaker with ice and then add in gin, half-and-half, lemon juice, and lime juice. Put sugar, egg white, orange flower water, and vanilla extract as well. Cover and shake well for the perfect blend.

Pour into a tall cocktail glass. Garnish with club soda.
