You might have made fried asparagus appetizers before because they’re very quick and easy to make.

However, we all know that we should be eating fewer fried foods—even vegetables, because when you fry vegetables, you lose some of their nutrients.

Baked Asparagus Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Olive oil to taste (about a tablespoon)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wash the asparagus well and cut off the ends. Place the asparagus flat on a baking sheet.
Season with a dash of salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until the tips start to have a golden brown edge.
Serve hot and enjoy!
