Stephen Curry is hands down one of the NBA’s most valuable players. The Golden State Warrior is married to Ayesha Curry and the power couple apparently loves fresh, delicious tuna tartare. No wonder Ayesha recently flaunted the beautiful dish of tuna tartare prepared by celebrity chef Michael Mina!
OK, so we know the Curry’s like tuna—but have you ever wondered what healthy diet and lifestyle tips they follow to keep healthy and in great shape?
Ayesha Curry and Stephen Curry: Healthy Diet Tips Revealed
Ayesha may be known as the beauty behind her powerhouse hubby, but with her own lifestyle blog, the release of an upcoming cookbook and her own Food Network cooking show, she proves she is much more than a pretty face. Ayesha has a passion for food that is delivered to her audience in a fresh and approachable way, in particular, some of the tips she offers her fans includes meal ideas that are healthy and fuss-free.
She swears by her Vitamix and loves to prepare smoothies for her family, including husband Stephen Curry, in the mornings. She dubs this the “five minute breakfast.” She also loves fresh avocado on toast, or a fried egg with some chili flakes and sharp cheddar. Quick and easy is her motto!
Oh, and coffee lovers—Ayesha suggests blending coffee with a bit of grass-fed butter or coconut oil—and bam!—it comes out creamy and frothy without excess dairy.
For lunch, Ayesha may prepare chicken breast seasoned with turmeric (an anti-inflammatory spice), a side of vegetables and a starch, like sweet potato or quinoa. Her trick is to prepare lunch and place in Tupperware ahead of time (especially since she is always on the go). Her busy life requires her to be ready for anything, and feeding her family is a priority.
Ayesha Curry also loves making delicious and creative marinades for protein dishes (i.e. salmon and chicken) using apricot marmalade, soy sauce, garlic, or ginger. One secret ingredient she uses in moderation to jazz up her dishes is brown sugar. She loves to use it on bacon and in tomato sauces, as she swears it illuminates all the flavors of the herbs.
Her famous dessert is a homemade bananas foster— her guests are entertained while she lights up this sweet dish in flames!
One thing she says she will never do is a dairy-free diet or colonics, and her guilty pleasure is vegan maple donuts.
Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry may be a totally-cute powerhouse couple, but their love for tuna tartare makes these health foodies completely relatable.
