Britain’s Got Talent judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon both opt for vegetarian diets to help them stay healthy, beautiful, and maintain their slim figures. The women work opposite Simon Cowell as judges on the hit show, and therefore looking good is a must for them. The two have similar diets for how they keep their skin flawless and bodies toned.

Alesha Dixon is in a relationship with dancer Azuka Ononye and says that sometimes he will offer to make her an omelet in the morning. Eggs are a great source of protein and when two or three are eaten for breakfast, you can plan on staying full for hours and go right through to lunch without needing a snack even depending on how much you exert yourself in those four hours.

If an offer of eggs isn’t on the table from her partner, Dixon will have bran flakes or porridge. Oatmeal is another terrific morning food because it tends to release sustained energy. Want the ideal combination for a no-fail breakfast that will keep you energized and healthy? Have two eggs and a bowl of oatmeal together. This is a winning breakfast combination to start the day.

For lunch, Dixon tends to grab something easy when she is out and about getting her errands done. Choices are typically a big salad or a green smoothie. Dinner is often grilled honeyed potatoes, some mackerel, grilled peppers, onions, spinach, brussels sprouts and quinoa. She and her partner eat a lot of fish since they don’t eat meat. (For the record, fish is considered meat so she is not a strict vegetarian, it seems. The term for a vegetarian who eats fish and seafood is pesco-vegetarian).

As for “cheat days,” Dixon says that if she wants to have a pizza or some chocolate, then she will and that we all should. Dixon and her partner love pizza, Indian food, and Maltesers.

Amanda Holden’s Vegetarian Diet

Amanda Holden is best known for being a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, but she has made the news in recent months for her revealing outfits that show off her great body. Co-judge Simon Cowell even commented on one of her outfits, saying that she was barely wearing anything and that he could see everything.

Holden has posed nude for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to feature in a new campaign poster for the animal rights group. The image is of her on a bed of cabbages, of all things. Other stars who have posed for the animal rights group include Eva Mendes, Alicia Silverstone, Pink, and Kelly Brook.

Vegetarianism is what Holden credits as the key reason she has beautiful skin and a slim physique. She hopes her campaign will inspire others to become vegetarians, if not full on vegans. Going vegetarian has given Dixon many benefits, including good skin and never feeling bloated. The mother of three has been following a vegetarian diet since she was 13. The star also loves to do yoga and that helps her stay in shape as well.
