Like many other restaurant franchises, Burger King restaurants may still operate on holiday schedules; however, they may have reduced hours. Sometimes the restaurants close early on these holidays or even open late. Because they are franchises, the stores’ hours vary.
The best way to get accurate information on restaurant hours is to visit the Burger King web site and find a restaurant close to you. Once you do that, you can look at the restaurant’s hours online or call the store directly to ask about its hours.
An interesting story comes from a Burger King restaurant in Miami, which is currently offering local residents the chance to exchange an unwanted Christmas gift for a Whopper.
In case you didn’t know, Burger King does have a Twitter account, and it recently tweeted a video that showed cruddy Christmas gifts that can be exchanged for Whoppers at the Miami Beach location on December 26.
Judging from the video, most of the items didn’t cost very much. Things like boring underwear, a stapler, and small and tasteless figurines were displayed in the video. The good thing about this exchange is that all the gifts collected will be going to charity.
A similar exchange will happen at Burger King restaurants in Brazil and London, which are also donating unwanted gifts to charity.
Items should be unused and there will be a limit on the number of gifts that can be used for an exchange. Also, Burger King restaurant personnel will determine if the gifts are acceptable at their own discretion.
The exchange in Miami will happen on December 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Up to 100 people who cannot make it to the restaurants in Miami, London, and Brazil are encouraged to participate on social media by posting photos of their items with the hashtag #WhopperExchange. This is a great way for everyone to spread the holiday cheer.
Happy holidays!
