New mom and stunning model, Candice Swanepoel, will be missing the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show because she just gave birth this past October. Swanepoel will probably be spending some wonderful time with her newborn son, Anacã.
The model shared a throwback photo on Instagram, and wished all the 2016 angels luck. She posted, “Guys! Goodluck in paris beautiful ladies! So sad to be missing this show! No doubt it will be magical. So hard for me to disappoint the people that always root for me, I wish I was there making you all proud. Girls, enjoy the moments together, cant wait to see the show and Can’t wait for vsfs2017!”
The 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show may be a year away, but the new mom is already getting back to shape and is already looking stunning. The svelte model who is popular among her fans for her enviable figure, took to Instagram and posted a photo in which she is seen flaunting her post-baby body. She also tweeted, “shameless feelings after getting back into the daisy dukes.”
On getting back to shape after giving birth, the model shared on the Today Show, “We have nutritionists, we have dietitians, we have trainers, we have our own schedules, we have nannies,” she added, “We have people who make it possible for us to get back into shape. But nobody should feel like that’s normal, or like that’s realistic.” Now, that’s a noteworthy message for all moms-to-be who wish to get back to shape after giving birth.
2017 will see the return of new moms and models, Behati Prinsloo and Swanepoel, for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Meanwhile, they seem to really enjoying doting on their newborns. Swanepoel has been posting cute photos of her baby son on Instagram. For example this post which is captioned, “So Thankful.”
The model also expressed in Portuguese, “Every woman deserves to choose this moment in order to feel how strong and blessed we are to bring a new soul into the world.”

Swanepoel likes to follow a fitness regimen, which does not include strenuous running and cardio. She feels that she burns calories too quickly and prefers to focus on a workout which helps her elongate her muscles and build strength. Her workout routine includes Pilates, ballet, and yoga. She also tries to include an occasional light boxing workout.
The model tries mixing workouts like boxing, jump roping, and basic ballet. She says, “Boxing works my arms and core, ballet elongates my muscles, and jumping rope is a great way to warm up before any workout.” She typically enjoys those workouts which don’t give her a feeling that she is exercising. She said, “My favorite exercise is something that doesn’t feel like I’m exercising at all, such as swimming in the ocean or playing paddle ball.”
When it comes to diet, Swanepoel, likes follow a healthy lifestyle. She prefers eating fresh clean foods, and she also admits that if she eats something that is not fresh, she can feel it, “ … so I crave good food,” she told OK! Magazine. She also does not believe in cutting out foods from her diet plan. So, when she has a craving for meat, she’d probably indulge in it. She said, “I don’t cut anything out, and I just work out more.” The model prefers organic fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoids processed junk foods. She seems to be conscious about choosing nourishing foods which help to supply her body with essential nutrients.
The annual 2016 Victoria’s Secret fashion extravaganza is just a few days away. While fans will stay tuned to see the 2016 angels cat-walking, many fitness enthusiasts will surely follow Candice Swanepoel’s fitness regimen.
