Christmas 2016: Publix Christmas Hours

Christmas 2016 festivities are just round the corner and it is time to soak in the holiday spirit. Do you still need to go for some last-minute grocery shopping? Publix stores happens to be a popular supermarket this time of the year.

Publix has been keeping their patrons engaged with their product updates on Instagram and Twitter. For example this post on Instagram which was captioned, “Take your pumpkin pie to the next level with this amazing no-bake version. Just fold half a container of softened Publix Premium Limited Edition Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream into a ready-made graham cracker piecrust; freeze for one hour, and serve with whipped topping.”

Publix was founded in 1930 by businessman and philanthropist, George Washington Jenkins, Jr. Today, it’s one of the largest employee-owned grocery chains with locations iin Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee.

Publix Christmas Hours

Publix stores have announced that they will be open on Christmas Eve.

Day Timings
Christmas Eve (Saturday, December 24) Open until 7:00 p.m.
Christmas Day (Sunday, December 25) CLOSED

They will remain closed on Christmas Day, so that their associates can spend time with their loved ones.

Here is another Instagram post which was captioned, “Mr. George always took great joy in sharing the holiday season with his associates. Back in the old days, he loved giving out gifts at the company Christmas party!” The caption reflects the same set of values followed by the store even today.
