This summer, Myer launched its spring-summer collection in one of the biggest fashion shows in the history of Australia. Over 300 outfits were showcased on the runway from designers including Sass & Bide, Kate Sylvester, Aje and Alex Perry.

Australian Model Jennifer Hawkins, face of the Australian department store and Miss Universe 2004, led the celebrity pack in attendance with her white lace floral design crop-top and black trousers. She paired the elegant top with black high-waist, ankle-length slacks and black peep-toed heels, which featured multiple straps.

The model covered her blemish-free complexion with a nude-base makeup and lengthened her lashes with thick black mascara. Jennifer Hawkins is also currently the host of Australia’s Next Top Model. Hawkins credits her workout plan for being able to flaunt the designs.

Jennifer Hawkins’ Workout for Myer Fashion Spring Launch

Training every day before the spring fashion launch, the model and TV personality works hard to stay in shape but doesn’t worry about counting calories. “I don’t really cut back all too much with food because I get too hungry,” she tells Honey.

“When you’re running you need the energy and fuel.” Hawkins has been the face of Myer since 2007 and just signed a contract that will keep her as a part of the runway for the next two years. “I’ve got some good luck charms,” Hawkins says. “I wish I didn’t. I’m superstitious.”

She revealed her favorite workouts and her secrets about allowing herself to eat as much pasta as possible. She believes one has to be at their best fitness level and exercise every day which may include squats, sit-ups that make you sweat. When short on time, she reportedly loves to work on her abs as it makes her feel better.

Jennifer Hawkins’ Husband Jake Wall Designed Workout Plan

Hawkins’ husband Jake Wall planned a workout routine to help Hawkins pull off some of the Myer collection’s more revealing looks. She tells Honey:

“I haven’t really been into resistance training in the past, only via Pilates, but Jake set up this little circuit when we were away and I was doing squats and abs and then I’d move to the next thing. I was sweating. I loved it.

“I also like Pilates and resistance training. It’s really great for your bod and your butt.”

The squats will tone up your abs, core section, legs and butt muscles, as well as provide body strength. Squats are easy on the joints but super-challenging on the muscles and can be done almost anywhere. Start by pushing your knees out, sit tall, and crunch your abs. It will pull together all the key areas that need attention, such as the ankles, hips, and upper back, and activate the core muscles.
