Halloween themed parties and dinner are the best way for any adult to celebrate the spooky holiday. Show off your scariest costume and enjoy a delicious Halloween meal at the same time. Several different places in the U.S. and around the world are taking Halloween 2016 to another level. There are a variety of different Halloween food events and other activities that participants can enjoy.

Halloween is a wonderful time to dress up in scary costumes and enjoy tasty treats. Here are the different Halloween food events and parties around the U.S. and England:

Harry Potter Themed Dinners: Chicago will feature Harry Potter-themed dinner events. At Ada Street on Oct. 29 and 30, guests will experience a “Great Hall Halloween Feast.” Ada Street features a long, dark, and windy entrance that is perfect for Halloween themed parties.

When you arrive at the Three Broomsticks, you can enjoy a Butterbeer, and then sit down at the different houses for dinner. Guests will enjoy a four-course meal with Halloween/Harry Potter-themed Dementor antidote and pumpkin juice. People will also enjoy a game of “Quidditch beer pong.” It will be $75 per entrance fee to the event.

The Haunted Dolls Deer Island Manor Themed Party: Deer Island Manor in Oregon will be having their second annual Halloween Dinner and Costume Contest on Oct. 29. The event is a fundraiser for United Way of Columbia County, and chef Doug Boyes, of Wild Currant Catering, is catering the dinner. The theme of the party is “The Haunted Dolls of Deer Island Manor.” Costumes are required, and people are encouraged to bring a creepy doll. Tickets are $50 per person, or $90 per couple.

Gothic Horror Celebration: The Balans Soho Society in London, England are holding a Halloween event where the restaurant will transform into a creepy venue with cobwebs and cold black and white movies flickering across the walls.

The menu includes a juicy chicken heart yakitori with crunchy Asian coleslaw, and grilled kidneys with wild mushrooms on toast. There is also a braised lamb’s heart with chicken liver and pistachio, and served with creamy mashed potatoes and rich gravy. Dessert will include spiced apple mousse with salted brandy snap caramel ice cream.

Lazy Susan Halloween Gala: Lazy Susan in Milwaukee is having an annual Halloween gala party on Oct. 29. Halloween-themed festivities include a costume contest, karaoke with a DJ, magic show, buffet, and tarot card and palm readings. The buffet features roast goat. Tickets can be purchased at the restaurant for $15, or at the door for $25. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Vanguard’s Halloween: Also, Vanguard Bar in Milwaukee will be having a Halloween party with a seafood shack concept called “Hook, Line, and Sinker” on Oct. 29. The menu will include shrimp and crab with hush puppies, soup, lobster, and rum-based cocktails. Vanguard is set to serve seafood until 10 p.m., or until the food runs out. The restaurant will then revert to its regular menu.

Halloween Spooky Sider Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

Six hard-boiled eggs, halved. Three tablespoons of mayonnaise or veganaise. 1/2 tsp. of ground mustard. 1/8 tsp. of sea salt. 1/8 tsp. of pepper. Black olives.

Directions:

Cut the hardboiled eggs in half lengthwise. Take out the yolks, mash them, and stir in the pepper, salt, mustard, and mayonnaise. Cut an olive in half, and put it on a mashed yolk for the spider’s body.
