Every year, there are new health concepts and trends, which infiltrate the thoughts and actions of our society.

Ideally, these health trends should be beneficial to our health and wellness—but that’s not always the case.

Some health trends occasionally tip the scale and may only bring short term health and wellness such as commercial diet programs that mislead consumers (like low-fat and low-calorie diets). These yo-yo diet programs proclaim weight loss, yet they only yield temporary success and results.

They also endorse processed and pre-packaged meals, and advertise them as healthy; however, they contain chemicals, additives, and other unhealthy ingredients.

It is very easy to get caught up in the unhealthy trends with today’s society based on convenience and a fast-paced mentality.

Health trends can benefit society as well, but they must incorporate a balanced way of thinking. There are health trends that plant seeds in our heads and allow for us to become awakened to the natural elemental power around us. We then embrace the water, earth, fire, and air that give us life each and every day.
