Healthy, Quick Thanksgiving Turkey

Healthy Thanksgiving Recipe

Healthy Thanksgiving RecipeOne of my favorite healthy recipes for this time of year is my turkey breast meat loaf. Turkey is a great source of lean protein and it tastes great! Onions and garlic contain chemicals that can lower your blood pressure and cholesterol. Carrots contain the pigment called beta carotene which is an important antioxidant known to help fight cancer.

This healthy recipe also contains high-fiber oats which are a great source of complex carbohydrates that can keep your blood sugar balanced and your bowels regular. The tomato paste and sauce in this healthy recipe contain lycopene, an antioxidant which has been known to reduce the growth of cancer cells. The added egg whites really gives this healthy recipe the low-calorie, high-protein power food you need.
