If you’re trying to lose weight, then you have probably been staying away from pizza. But what should you do if you just can’t resist your favorite food?
Look no further—here’s my favorite healthy pizza recipe. It’s made up of goat cheese, spinach (a good source of iron), lots of veggies, and whole grain pita! It will fill you up for sure.
Grilled Vegetables Recipe
- 1 zucchini
- 1 tomato
- 1/2 clove crushed garlic
- tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
|Slice tomato and zucchini.|
|Place on the grill at medium heat, turning frequently.|
|Add the garlic to the oil and brush on the vegetables while turning.|
|Cook until golden brown.|
This is a great snack if you are at home and want something fast, nutritious, and great tasting to eat a few hours after dinner. This snack has a healthy amount of protein, carbohydrates, and fiber, as well as a moderate amount of healthy fat. I really enjoy preparing this in the evening on a regular basis for myself as a healthy snack.
You can also use different types of vegetables for this recipe, but I have found this pizza quite excellent with just tomato sauce, roasted garlic cloves, goat cheese, spinach, and olive oil. I also like adding chicken breast strips for added protein.
