Jessica Alba is the total package. Not only does she have a hot, toned, slender, and bikini body, the 35-year-old balances her life as an actress, mom of two, and businesswoman with a very healthy lifestyle. The Jessica Alba diet and workout are fairly strict most of the time, although Alba will have a cheat meal once in a while. She posted an Instagram photo of her enjoying some noodles with a friend while on her Hawaiian rainforest vacation.

Alba certainly deserves a vacation. She is the co-founder and chief creative officer of The Honest Company, which makes and sells non-toxic household products such as laundry detergent, makeup, and baby products. The Honest Company is valued at $1.7 billion. On top of that, Alba was also featured in three films in 2016, including Mechanic: Resurrection, Dear Eleanor, and The Veil.

For her acting gigs, Alba is always required to look her best, and fitness and a healthy diet are big parts of her lifestyle. Let’s take a look at how Jessica Alba remains in shape with her diet and exercise routine despite juggling acting and responsibilities with The Honest Company.

What is Jessica Alba’s Diet and Healthy Lifestyle

Alba is also known for her roles in the TV series Dark Angel, Fantastic Four, Sin City, Valentine’s Day, and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

To prepare for many of her roles, Alba will stick a healthy diet plan that avoids white flour, sugar, and processed foods. Instead Alba will enjoy a diet with lots of whole foods like vegetables, and some of her favorite foods include spinach, cucumber, green apple, ginger, celery, kale, blueberries, and green smoothies. Overall, Alba has implemented a gluten-free, dairy-free, and low-carb diet. She will also eat lean protein sources like meat, tuna, fish, and grilled chicken. She will also practice portion control. Her cheat meals will also include a piece of cake from time to time.

Her personal trainer, Ramona Braganza, has also helped Alba with a food chart after pregnancy. That diet was high in fiber and complex carbs. Braganza has also worked with other celebrities such as Jessica Biel, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, and Kate Beckinsale.

Jessica Alba’s Exercise Routine

Alba also prioritizes nutrition over exercise. That being said, she has spectacular abs, and when Alba exercises, she definitely feels stronger. Alba will work out up to four times per week. Some of her favorite exercises and activities are hot yoga, running on the treadmill, kickboxing, spin classes, swimming, biking, and hiking. Alba has also worked with dance instructor and trainer Jennifer “JJ Dancer” Johnson.

Although Alba does not like working out at the gym or doing tedious indoor workouts, her personal trainer has her do the 3-2-1 workout. It features strength training, cardio workouts, and core workouts. Alba’s workout allows her body to get physically fit in a vigorous training environment. Jessica Alba’s 3-2-1 training routine includes three cardio exercises, two strength training exercises, and one core workout that focuses on the lower and upper abs.

The exercises in the routine include dumbbell bench presses, jogging, dumbbell flyes, dumbbell incline bench presses, triceps kickbacks, forward lunges, squats, bicycle crunches, abs crunches, dumbbell bicep curls, forearm planks, bosu ball knee tucks, and twisting planks. The workout will take about an hour the first time, but it may take 40 to 50 minutes when you increase the intensity of the strength-training portion of the workout.

With Jessica Alba’s workout and diet plan, it is no wonder that the actress and businesswoman has kept in such good shape for many years. Needless to say, Alba can eat a cheat meal every so often when on vacation.
