Jake Gyllenhaal Workout Routine and Diet Plan

Gyllenhaal enjoys parkour workouts and finds them exciting. He does a little cardio before parkour to increase agility. He starts with gymnastics followed by jumps on hard surfaces like roof tops, benches, bridges, and beams. Cardio workouts are important for building muscle and increasing stamina, so he incorporates it into his routine.

He also does high-intensity interval training (HIIT) which involves extreme exercises in a short span of time. This is followed by small rest periods. Many celebrities take up HIIT as part of their fitness regime. Gyllenhaal does uphill sprints followed by abs exercises and stretching. He also trains with resistance cables to build muscle. It includes push-ups, pull-ups, and stretching.

To fuel himself for the rigorous workouts he has a banana with dry fruits, nuts and an espresso. Eating light but healthy is vital prior to working out so that one doesn’t feel exhausted. Also, eating a nutritious meal post workout is important as well in order to restore energy levels. He has a protein shake and an egg white omelet for breakfast.

His lunch and dinner is light and includes a baked potato with some tuna and a salad. Sometimes he prefers a more lighter lunch and dinner, and just consumes a healthy soup with a small protein shake.

To build muscle, he stays away from foods containing refined sugars and junk. He drinks large amounts of water and eats protein bars and dark chocolate, as well as supplements rich in omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids.

Amy Adams Diet and Workout

The Arrival star’s secret to that ever glowing skin is in her clean, healthy diet and workout. She eats nutrient dense foods and keeps away from junk. Her breakfast consists of one boiled egg and a slice of wholegrain toast with margarine and marmalade. Her lunch is very light and includes a bread roll, a tin of two fruits, and a bowl of vegetable soup. For snacks she has tea with biscuits and yogurt. Her dinner consists of vegetable tacos filled with cheese and beef, along with a fresh fruit salad.

Adams’ inspirational source is her mother, who despite being in her 60s, does skiing, rock climbing, and biking. She credits her mother for her lean and ripped shape.

Adams works under training with Tracy Anderson and Jason Walsh, and also loves Sheila Kelley’s exotic dance-inspired S Factor. Dancing boosts your confidence and energy. Apart from burning calories, the other physical benefits it provides include toning muscles and increasing flexibility.

In an interview with Elle, Amy said: “Technically I’m a petite person, but I’ve always been strong. And I’ve never been into deprivation.”

Her diet and workout is pretty simple to follow, and the benefits it provides are enormous. Surely it’s worth a try!
