Shades Of Blue star Jennifer Lopez was blind to her beau Casper Smart’s faults. Lopez previously caught him cheating on her, and he promised not to do it again; however, he did, and that is allegedly why the pair split. At present, Smart says he has changed, but recent videos of him with bikini-clad dancers show something different.
Lopez might be disappointed, but she isn’t letting it show. Her diet and workout routine is still on point and she looks as amazing as always.
Jennifer Lopez’s Diet
The secret that has kept Lopez’s aging at bay is a heavy veggie diet.
Her trainer, Tracy Anderson, talked to People about her diet, “It’s all organic and it’s all very well thought out, with the balance of very high quality proteins and a lot of nutrient-dense food.”
She consumes ample amounts of protein throughout the day, which starts with a healthy protein shake and a decaf coffee. She told US Weekly that she consumes 90 calories for breakfast. She has the chocolate Body Lab shake with quinoa milk or water.
For lunch, she eats a veggie-heavy salad with fresh salmon. She likes eating broccoli, peppers, and zucchini, often with a drizzle of vinaigrette.
She has her dinner by 6:30, which includes a mixture of grains like quinoa and lean proteins. It includes rice and beans, and she likes eating chicken and pork.
Besides protein powder, there is no other processed item in her diet. She feels that one must surrender themselves to occasional indulgences, and that it is natural to do so.
Lopez doesn’t believe in starving herself to get in shape. She went on a 22-day vegan challenge in order to reset her eating habits and lose weight. She avoids consuming alcohol and caffeine.
She also makes sure that she gets a good nights sleep of eight to ten hours; when she is occupied with other tasks, she gets at least seven hours of sleep.
Jennifer Lopez’s Workout
Lopez doesn’t let her body get used to the same exercise—she does a combination of exercises. She does cardio like biking, running, boxing, and StairMaster, which are all great calorie burning workouts. She feels that toning the body is more important than just losing weight. She does resistance training two to three times a week, and has an immense dedication to squats and lunges.
When Lopez is in New York, she works with David Kirsch. He gets her to do planks, pushups, and box. With Anderson’s workout, Lopez focuses on butt and thigh moves to get a carved physique.
Despite a 16 hour workday, she is still glowing at the end of it. Her sugar, salt, and protein rich diet; portion control; workouts; and sound sleep are her biggest health secrets.
