Jessica Alba’s Workout and Training for Mechanic: Resurrection

Jessica Alba’s workout for the Mechanic: Resurrection movie alternates between indoor cycling and a hot yoga-inspired full-body workout called YogaSculpt. She works out two to four times a week for hour-long sessions, focusing on high-intensity intervals. Alba mainly practices the following workouts:

YogaSculpt

Alba takes two to three YogaSculpt classes a week. “She loves YogaSculpt because it gives her the best of both worlds: hardcore physical workout and the balance and stretch of traditional yoga,” says her trainer, Cornelius Jones Jr. He also says that Alba is a big fan of his workout soundtracks, which include hip hop, pop, R&B, and house. The class incorporates vinyasa-style yoga with free weights in a room that’s heated up to 107°F. She runs to the studio early in the morning and begins her training by 7:30 or 8 a.m.

Hiking

She loves to scale mountains or go trekking in the cool atmosphere of Los Angeles.

Cycle House

Alba cycles with Nichelle Hines, a Cycle House instructor. She generally does group cycling with loud hip-hop music.

Krav Maga Boxing

Alba is undergoing training with Michael Margolin, cofounder of Krav Maga Worldwide, which specializes in the Israeli military’s official system of hand-to-hand combat. She takes Krav Maga boxing and punching-bag classes from time to time.

Jessica Alba’s Diet Secrets

Jessica Alba’s daily diet plan emphasizes healthy eating habits. She mostly avoids unhealthy and processed foods and instead opts for organic foods like kale, green smoothies, blueberries, ginger, celery, green apples, cucumbers, and spinach.

Her personal trainer, Ramona Braganza, prepared a food chart for her. There are myriad high fiber foods in her diet plan, including complex carbs. Lean protein such as grilled chicken and fish is also part of her meals.

Alba minimizes the amount of sugar, white flour, and other high-carb foods in her diet. But every now and then, when she wants to treat herself to something indulgent, she practices portion control and eats a small amount of cake or other foods.

For those fans who want to achieve a look like hers, Jessica Alba recommends regular workouts and a balanced diet, but these two factors alone are not sufficient. You also need to change your attitude and the way you dress. She also says that you must be confident, and this will make you fall in love with yourself.
