The Kardashian–Jenner family is one that many people look up to for tips on fashion, dieting, and overall swag. All the Kardashian sisters (Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie and Kendall) are known as fashion and pop culture icons for many reasons.
They all have enviable looks and shapely figures that some can only dream of. Well, look no further, because we have the scoop on how all the ladies stay in shape fit. Get ready to soak up the Kardashian diet secrets.
The Kim Kardashian Diet
Kim Kardashian may have been out of the spotlight for a while, but she has always been known to flaunt her fashion choices and curvaceous figure. When she shared with Entertainment Tonight that she recently lost 60 pounds, we couldn’t help but wonder how she did it. Well, the answer is that Kim follows the Atkins diet.
This diet emphasizes eating lots of protein and low carbs. Colette Heimowitz, who is Kim’s nutritionist, says that the reality TV star and business woman also counts calories. On the Atkin’s diet, Kim can eat anywhere from 1500 to 1800 calories a day, and this keeps her satisfied, energized, never hungry, and not desiring to cheat with unhealthy foods. The key is to eat consistently enough without overdoing it.
Instead of eating no carbs on the diet, it’s encouraged to eat carbs that contain a lot of fibre like fruits and veggies. These are considered “net carbs” meaning they are not empty, but provide fuel for the body.
Some of the meals Kim might eat in a day include grilled chicken with asparagus and tomato salad, grilled salmon and Caesar salad, rolled oats and pecans topped with strawberries, halibut and sautéed green beans, or scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and smoked Gouda cheese. These are all delicious meals that have fresh ingredients, protein, and fibre, but are low in carbs.
The Kylie Jenner Diet
The Kylie Jenner diet has one very big secret, and that is that she stays in shape by drinking Fit Tea Detox tea to lose weight. She began drinking the detox tea after seeing how well it worked for her sister Kendall, and now Kylie swears by it (so do the other sisters). This tea cleans out the liver and colon while also burning fat.
Kylie sticks with a low carb diet and when she does eat carbs, she ensures they are high in fibre (similar to Kim). She also cuts back on carbs before photo shoots or big events. A meal that would appeal to Kylie would be a chicken and green bean salad, or even Mexican food. She also loves organic pressed juices and smoothies.
Similar to Kim and Kylie, the Kendall Jenner healthy eating plan, Khloe Kardashian diet and Kourtney Kardashian diet involve eating healthy food as a lifestyle. There are no crash diets here—these ladies are making health a priority in their day to day lives.
Is it any wonder when they follow such balanced diets that they have svelte bodies and toned figures? If you’re trying to emulate their diet plans, then try incorporating whole healthy foods and snacks such as homemade hummus with chopped veggies like Khloe, and eating organic, fresh produce with minimal gluten and dairy.
