Kate Beckinsale’s Workout in Kitchen; “Underworld: Blood Wars” Star Flaunts Toned Body While Stretching

Kate Beckinsale uploaded an interesting pic of her bizarre workout on Instagram. The Underworld: Blood Wars star showed off her toned body in a black sports bra and leggings. She raised her leg swiftly while she read Nutshell by Ian McKewan and was waiting for the dishwasher to finish the rinse cycle.

The gorgeous beauty was ranked 41 amongst the 100 most beautiful people by People magazine, and honored as Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire magazine in 2009. Her fans are sure to be curious about her workout and diet.

Kate Beckinsale’s Workout Routine

Beckinsale loves to workout, but without being in the public eye. She started following the 3-2-1 workout when she had to get in shape soon after she landed her reprising role as Selene in Underworld: Blood Wars. The 3-2-1 Training Method is a combination of three cardio workouts, two circuits of strength training, and one core workout.

Beckinsale does high intensity workouts for 45 to 60 minutes, five days a week. Her workouts include crunches, squats, leg raises, and half and hour running on the treadmill. She does a variety of yoga poses to tone her glutes, inner thighs, and legs . She does eight reps each of sun salutes, reverse warriors, chair poses, low boat poses, one-arm side planks, forearm planks and leg lifts, temple poses, and tree poses. For the arms and abs, she does sun salutes and plank poses. For the glutes and legs, she does chair poses and tree poses.

Kate Beckinsale’s diet is a balance of complex carbs and proteins. Her diet plan consists of three small meals and two snacks. She eats a lot of green and leafy veggies, fresh fruits, and lean proteins. She hydrates herself with lots of water which flushes out the toxins from her body and helps her have radiant skin.

She eats clean and organic foods and keeps away from sugar, dairy, and high-carb foods. She prefers eating home-cooked meals rather than nutrient-deficient restaurant food. Her indulgences include pancakes and pastry cakes.

Her detailed diet plan is as follows:

Breakfast – She has a protein-rich diet comprising of hard-boiled eggs, omelet with onion and tomato, or oatmeal.

Mid-morning meals – She loves to eat popcorn, hummus, nectarines with yogurt, kale chips, nuts like almonds and walnuts.

Lunch – Her lunch is very fulfilling and protein-rich consisting of chicken, a veggie wrap, mixed vegetable soup, and steamed brown rice.

Dinner – Another protein-rich meal of the day that includes grilled fish, turkey, chicken, and beans.
