Khloe Kardashian Reveals Her Weight Loss Struggle with the Contestants Of “Revenge Body”

Khloe Kardashian got her ‘revenge’ by losing 40 pounds. Now, she wants the contestants on her show, Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian, to get their revenge by losing weight in a healthy way. In one-on-one sessions with the contestants, Kardashian shared her weight-loss struggle story.

She revealed that growing up, she was labeled as the ‘fat and funny’ sister. The constant criticism saddened her, resulting in self-doubt. That led to stress-eating and more weight gain. However, things turned around as a result of her much-publicized divorce with retired, professional basketball player, Lamar Odom.

Khloe Kardashian took to the gym to escape from the divorce drama. She immersed herself in intense workouts, and that’s when she started feeling better about her body transformation. The third sister of the Kardashian clan explained that she first sought comfort by indulging in carb-rich foods; however, she quickly realized that it wasn’t healthy. She said, “So I had to learn how to then put all my energy into something more positive and healthy for me, which is how I fell in love with working out.”

The 32-year-old Revenge Body star says that her divorce with Odom goaded her to take care of herself. She started working out hard, followed a good diet, and put herself first. Her trainer, Gunnar Peterson, revealed that Khloe Kardashian is a ‘no-nonsense’ person when it comes to sweating it out in the gym. She takes her training and workouts very seriously. It is this dedication and determination that helped Kardashian shed an impressive 40 pounds of weight!

In an interview with the US Weekly magazine, Khloe Kardashian said, “I really need an outlet mentally.” She continued, “I started working out, and the clarity I received from that was so needed, and it was so therapeutic, and as a by-product, I started losing weight.” So, what first started as an emotional outlet, took an inspiring turn and gave Kardashian new-found confidence. Her weight loss story is truly inspiring and she said that she will keep working harder and push herself that extra mile to maintain her new healthy and beautiful body.

With an army of trainers, nutritionists, and stylists, Khloe Kardashian now wants to help transform the lives of the overweight contestants on her fitness reality show, Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian. She will personally help the contestants in their grueling weight loss journey by sharing fitness tips, and by extending moral and emotional support if needed.
