#1: Peaches Hothouse

Owners Craig Samuel and Ben Grossman keep it open on Labor Day and it’s located in Bedford-Stuyvesant area of NYC.

This resto has a clean and modern vibe and puts a sophisticated spin on many local dishes including potato pancakes, which are an apparent hit. It is located in the Lower East Side.

#3: Ambrose Beer and Lobster

This Financial District joint is open until midnight in on Labor Day, and patrons can unwind with bar games like giant chess and beer pong. There’s tons of craft beer to choose from, and they usually have $5 specials on this holiday.

Their menu features all the best lobster dishes, including Lobster Grilled Cheese, Maine Lobster Rolls, and Parmesan and Truffle Oil French Fries.

Katz’s deli serves an assortment of meats throughout the day and its walls are filled with snapshots of New York history – photos showcasing their most famous clientele over the decades.

This deli is also said to have some pretty unique options that are hard to come by elsewhere. You can get everything from your classic New York hotdog or pastrami on rye to a delicious brisket sandwich with horseradish.

#5: Black Tap: Craft Burgers and Beers

Chef Joe Isidori serves non-traditional fare like chorizo burgers with pickled jalapeño at this casual burger joint in Soho that also serves local brews.

Both locations will be open on Labor Day for regular hours and will offer an All American Burger with a Miller High Life for under $20.
