Meghan Markle is feeling the pressure to make the perfect Thanksgiving turkey; however, she will be doing it without boyfriend, Prince Harry, 32, who is away on official royal business in the Caribbean. The 35-year-old Suits actress suggested on Instagram that the pressure was on to create the perfect roasted turkey from last year.

Markle has been posting less often on social media since her relationship with Prince Harry became public last month. The couple has been dating since the end of the summer.

The prince is now 2,000 miles away on an official royal visit. On the Caribbean visit, he met with the founder and president of the Nevis Turtle Group, Lemuel Pemberton. The prince and Pemberton spoke about the Nevis turtle conversation project on Lovers Beach.

The prince also unveiled a dedication to The Queens Commonwealth Canopy Project in the Central Forest Reserve National Park. He also met cultural dancers during a youth rally at Brimstone Fortress. Prince Harry’s visit to the Caribbean is also the 50th Anniversary of Independence in Barbados and Guyana and the 35th Anniversary of Independence in Antigua and Barbuda.

Has Prince Harry Found His Princess?

Could Markle one day be Prince Harry’s new princess? Markle does dream of having a family one day, and Prince Harry’s top priority is settling down.

Meghan Markle is quite the catch. Markle is best known for her role as paralegal Rachel Zane in the American legal drama Suits (2011-2017). She is also known for her movie roles in Remember Me (2010), Horrible Bosses (2011), Dysfunctional Friends (2012), Random Encounters (2013), and Anti-Social (2015).

Markle also has a real interest in healthy cooking. The Suits star has a website, The Tig, which is devoted to recipes, food photos, and conversations with chefs. It is named after the Americanized shorthand of the Italian wine Tiganello. The following is a couple of delicious recipes you can try from the website, including some healthy snacks.

Spicy Broccoli and Hempseed Stew

Want a healthy stew you can feel good about giving to your family? Try this broccoli and hempseed stew recipe below:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 quarts of water
4 cups of bite sized broccoli florets
1 tsp. of coconut oil
2 sliced green onions
1 can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup of hempseed
1 tsp. of Celtic sea salt
1/2 tsp. of red pepper flakes
Juice of 1 lime and grated peel from the lime
1 tbsp. of fresh chopped cilantro
1 tbsp. of chopped fresh mint

Directions:

Place a steamer basket in a large pot with a quart of water, and bring to a boil over high heat. Steam the broccoli in the basket for 15 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender. Reserve the steaming water.

In a medium pot over medium heat, warm the oil, and cook the green onion for five minutes, or until soft and translucent. Stir the chickpeas, the reserved water, and a half quarter of water and cook for 15 minutes, or until the chickpeas are tender.

Stir in the salt, red pepper flakes, lime juice, lime peel, and hempseed, and cook for a few minutes. In an immersion zlender or regular blender, puree the soup until it is smooth, and bring back to the pot. Stir in the cilantro, mint, and steamed broccoli, and cook on medium for two to three minutes to just reheat the broccoli. It is now ready to serve.

Pumpkin Fondue

Fondue is perfect during holiday time for guests, but have you tried it with pumpkin? Try this pumpkin fondue recipe below:

Ingredients:

1 quarter-pound pumpkin
1/4-inch baguette, cut into quarter inch slices, slightly toasted
1/4-lb grated Gruyere cheese
1 3.4 cups of half and half cream
2 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp. of Celtic sea salt
1 tsp. of freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. of nutmeg

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit. Carefully cut a one-inch slice off the top of the pumpkin, and reserve the top, and scoop out. Discard the seeds and strings.

Make three layers each of the toast and cheese in the pumpkin cavity, and alternate the layers while ending the cheese.

Whisk together the eggs, salt, pepper, half and half, and nutmeg, and slowly pour the mixture into the pumpkin. Replace the pumpkin top, and bake on a shallow baking pan in the middle of the oven until pumpkin is tender for about two hours.

Serve by scooping out the pumpkin flesh with bread and cheese. It serves about four people.
