Natalie Portman, ‘Jackie’ Star, Carries her Pregnancy Well on Red Carpet, All Due to What She Eats!

Natalie Portman has been promoting her new biopic film, Jackie, on the red carpet recently, and we have to say that she is glowing! The actress is more than half way through her second pregnancy, and although she looks like she is about to pop, she still has a few months to go.

No matter what she is wearing, Portman manages to exude elegance, class, and sophistication wherever she goes. She definitely credits eating well to looking and feeling good, from the inside out. Here is a look into her diet and workout regimen.

Natalie Portman Diet and Exercise Regimen

The 35-year-old Natalie Portman looked breathtaking at the China Huading Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night. She was dressed in a floor-length Erdem Izumi gown that draped over and proudly displayed her baby bump. Once again, this is due to her diet and body regimen, which has a strong focus on making healthy eating choices.

Portman follows a vegan diet, which she believes is the secret to her amazing and radiant skin. She admits that a vegan diet in addition to staying hydrated with lots of water, are what keeps her skin in good condition. According to the actress, as soon as she eats dairy, she immediately breaks out. Although Portman lives in Paris with her hubby Benjamin Millepied and their first child, she makes sure she avoids all the cheese and croissants. As you may know, croissants contain dairy and cheese is dairy, so these are not part of a vegan diet in any way.

Although the exact foods are unknown, it’s not a stretch to assume that she sticks to lean vegetable protein sources like tofu, tempeh, legumes, nuts, seeds and beans. She likely also eats an abundance of leafy greens and other veggies. Although she cannot eat dairy, she may opt for dairy-free beverages like almond milk or chia milk instead. She may also enjoy foods like avocado, tomatoes, spinach, kale and peppers.

The Natalie Portman workout includes lots of running for cardio. She has been spotted running with her husband on occasion, too. She also does resistance training, swimming, and barre workouts. She also actually continues to practice many of the ballet techniques that she learned while she was filming the movie Black Swan.

In addition to diet and exercise, Natalie Portman also has several beauty secrets. For example, to cover her dark circles (yes, she gets them, too!) she uses Diorskin Star concealer. She also uses the same brand of mascara to help make her eyes look bigger and more open if she is feeling tired. She also uses the Addict Lip Glow No: 001 from Dior which she says brings out your own lip colour while still adding lots of moisture.

She likes to use Dr. Bronner’s Lavender Castile soap, which is a great brand that is super clean and free of chemicals. Portman particularly loves the way all the soaps smell. She is fuss-free when it comes to her hair – usually blow drying it at night or sometimes sleeping with it wet (which is not the best idea for everyone). She does like to add products like Moroccan oil and Mallet’s serum to treat her hair to some TLC.
