Michael B. Jordan is an American actor best known for making appearances on critically acclaimed television shows (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, CSI, and Cold Case), and as the star of Creed (2015), the seventh installment of the Rocky franchise.
What about Michael B. Jordan’s workout for Creed? Jordan says that his Creed workout plan changed his life for the better.
His boxing training with former boxer, Corey Calliet, helped Jordan transform into Adonis “Donnie” Johnson Creed, son of Apollo Creed.
Jordan needed a decent body while acting in TV shows The Wire and Friday Night Lights, but things were taken to the next level in the Rocky franchise movie.
The 29-year-old actor gained 24 pounds for the role, and worked out all day, every day, for four to five months. Now he trains three hours daily, performing weightlifting and cardio exercises.
Jordan’s workout includes jogging, the incline bench press, dumbbell flies, push-ups, triceps cable pushdowns, triceps dumbbell kickbacks, floor dips, box jumps, crunches, dumbbell rows, lateral pull-downs, bent-over rows, biceps curls, hammer curls, barbell curls, and double crunches.
Jordan also followed a strict diet that included six egg whites, protein shakes, chicken, fish, oats, rice, veggies, sweet potatoes, and nuts.
