Sarah Hyland’s Christmas Wish List: Pizza, Food and Boyfriend Dominic Sherwood

Stunning Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland’s Christmas wish list is simply adorable. The actress took to Instagram and posted, “All I want for Christmas is….. to be able to eat all the pizza in the world and still have abs without having to workout…. oh yeah and you @domsherwood.” In the photo, she is seen with her boyfriend and actor, Dominic Sherwood, and they look adorable together.

Having all the pizza in the world and still staying in shape is a great Christmas wish list, although very unrealistic.

The couple met on the set of Vampire Academy, and Sherwood recently confessed, “Sarah makes me want to be a better version of myself.” He added, “That’s what I love most about her. She inspires me to be the best version of me.”

Sarah Hyland’s Workout Routine

Hyland said that you have to love yourself for who you are, and as long as you are healthy, that’s all that matters. This is a wonderful message and her fans should definitely be encouraged with her advice. The Modern Family star told Daily Mail, “I don’t want to have a skinny look, I want to have muscle.” Hyland likes to hit the gym and work out. She is trained by personal trainer, Chad Landers.

She does not shy away from lifting weights and her trainer confirmed this. He told People, “… she really is not afraid to lift weights and to be strong.” He added, “She loves being strong and getting stronger.”

Her workout routine focuses on exercising the full body and includes cardio intervals, strength training, abs workout, squats, and more. Here is a peek on her sample workout:

Incline dumbbell chest presses: Includes three sets of 10 to 15 reps with 17.5-lb dumbbells
Seated machine rows: Includes three sets of 10 to 15 reps at 60 lbs
Kettlebell deadlifts: Includes three sets of 10 to 15 reps with a 44-lb kettlebell
Cable triceps pushdowns: Includes three sets of 10 to 15 reps at 25 lbs
Stir the Pot: Includes three sets of 15 to 20 reps per side

Hyland also performs two minutes on a step mill for the cardio interval, which she includes in between each exercise. Her ballet dancing is also a good form of workout and she posted a pic on Instagram captioning it, “I used to be a ballerina so I thought why not try again?”

She also heads to Body by Simone for maintaining a toned and fit body. She often teams up with actresses and friends, Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough, for her workouts. Here is a post she made on Instagram that is captioned, “First @bodybysimone class. How @ninadobrev and I felt before and after. Thanks @juleshough for dragging us to class soooo early ;)”

The actress also said, “It’s never about losing weight – that’s not what I care about – I should just be a bit fitter than I am.”

Sarah Hyland’s Diet Plan

Sarah Hyland, who has an enviably fit body, likes to balance her diet. She likes eating fast food—especially pizza—and her recent Christmas wish list post on Instagram confirms this. The actress posted other photos of herself on Instagram where she is enjoying her beloved fast food.

She is disciplined about her diet and often stays away from unhealthy snacks. She prefers eating clean and healthy foods. Her diet plan includes lean proteins and veggies, as well as drinking plenty of water. Even though the actress may indulge occasionally, she likes to practice moderation in all her food choices. She once said, “I would eat Taco Bell every day!”
