Sarah Michelle Gellar’s diet is an important part of how she stays healthy and keeps her figure. Michelle Gellar doesn’t follow a strict or restrictive diet, but her family eats a variety of healthy, nutritious foods.
On her Instagram, Gellar recently shared a photo of what was left of sweet potato pasta with marinara sauce that her family ate as a healthy alternative to regular pasta. This healthy meal is typical for Gellar and her family.
According to Gellar, her family is big on juice. However, they don’t drink store-bought juice, instead opting for homemade, freshly squeezed juice using fruits and vegetables from a local farmers market. Gellar likes to use kale, carrots, and celery in her juice, and she says her entire family has been healthier since adding it to their regular diets.
Juicing is a great way to get vitamins and nutrients, but Gellar also makes sure to get plenty of Omega-3 fatty acids in her diet, which is particularly important for brain health. She likes to eat plenty of sushi, halibut, and other types of seafood that are rich in Omega-3s.

Sarah Michelle Gellar’s fitness is an important part of her health regimen. For her role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gellar didn’t just have to stay slim; she also had to have the strength to perform her own stunts.
According to her trainer Phong Tran, Sarah Michelle Gellar’s training focused on her core, ensuring that her abs and back muscles were strong. Her workout routine included a lot of functional training, including bodyweight exercises, Pilates, weightlifting, cardio, and outdoor workouts.
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s gym workouts may have helped her stay in shape, but as her recent Instagram photo showed, she is now also doing yoga workouts from the comfort of her home. Yoga is not only good for physical fitness and flexibility, but is also believed to help reduce stress and improve mental health.
