Selena Gomez has long mesmerized fans with her musical talent and good looks. She maintains her figure with an intense workout regimen with trainer Amy Rosoff Davis and a diet plan.

Gomez was working out rigorously seven days a week, for up to two hours at a time, in preparation for the Revival Tour. On top of this, she was also rehearsing back-to-back run-throughs of her show, which runs 90 minutes long. Selena Gomez’s weight loss plan helped her get in shape so she has the stamina to keep up with her demanding schedule.

Selena Gomez’s Diet Plan

She admits she’s bad at keeping herself hydrated and now keeps water on hand. “It’s even in my bathroom because I used to be so bad at drinking water and I want to stay hydrated,” she tells Vogue.

Gomez has a juicer in her dressing room and sips juices made of carrot, cucumber, kale, and ginger. Ginger shots and coconut water are her favorite beverages to drink. She says ginger helps boost energy and soothe a sore throat and is a regular food in her diet.

Or
Full-fat Greek yogurt and granola

Lunch
Salad made of turkey, avocado, and beans dressed with olive oil, mustard, lemon juice, and red wine vinegar

Dinner
Teriyaki bowl with Asian-marinated cucumber, salmon or chicken, avocado, and teriyaki sauce over rice
Or
Sushi

Selena Gomez’s Workout Plan

Rosoff Davis believes Gomez responds well to physical challenges and has attained a good physique by changing her eating habits.

The trainer and singer both abide by a series of workout and diet guidelines, which have helped drive the Selena Gomez weight loss transformation. And now you can try following them, too.

No Weighing
Rosoff Davis says, “I don’t believe in scales—I just don’t think it’s healthy.”

By working out and eating a healthy diet, we can see the difference in our body and track changes without relying on a scale.

Stretching
Rosoff Davis says stretching is important since it increases flexibility. Gomez does a combined stretching and vocal warm-up session as part of her workout plan.

Mix It up
Gomez loves doing cardio, Pilates, and yoga of all kinds. Rosoff Davis believes mixing up exercises is the best way to keep the muscles active.

“Basically, I wanted to mix things up because I get bored easily,” she admitted. “I just try to keep it fresh.”

Sweat It Out
Gomez goes to a sweathouse where she lies in an infrared burrito and burns up to 600 to 1,800 calories per session. She also says these sessions have given her glowing skin!

No Dieting
Gomez does not believe in dieting but moderation. She says, “Life is too short not to enjoy food.” She just refrains from eating too much fat, especially trans fats.

Feel Good
Rosoff Davis believes if you feel good, you feel strong and healthy, and this will be reflected in your personality. Also, a positive approach is essential.

Nourish the Body and Soul
Rosoff Davis says Gomez is always around others—on buses, during shows, in hotels—so it’s vital for the singer to get in touch with nature and cut herself off from technology and people.
