Strawberry detox water is the newest trend for weight loss and healthy living. We are fairly certain that it won’t be a short-lived fad because of its numerous health benefits. It is also quite flavorful and easy to make.

Basically, chopped or squeezed fresh fruits and vegetables, such as lemon, ginger, mint leaves, grapefruit, orange, sweet lime, cucumber, apple, strawberry, and so on, are placed into a bottle or jar and filled with water. It is then stored and chilled overnight, allowing the goodness of these fruits and vegetables to infuse into the water. So, this becomes more like a nutritious stock that can be sipped throughout the day, just like plain water. In addition to its numerous health benefits, this nutrient-rich water keeps the body hydrated and helps with weight loss.

Rich in taste and scent, strawberries are a delicate gift of nature. Belonging to the rose family—yes, it’s true—strawberries are loaded with vitamins and antioxidants. And now, the goodness of strawberries in detox water can be enjoyed as well. Known as strawberry detox water, this is nothing but strawberry-infused water.

Water is a wondrous resource of nature. Studies have revealed that constantly hydrating the body helps to increase the metabolic rate, keeps the skin glowing, and helps reduce food intake, thereby keeping a restraint on weight gain. Detox water is one of the most popular weight loss methods. It keeps the body well hydrated, and helps to flush out toxins.

Strawberry Detox Water Health Benefits

Strawberry Detox water can assist with reducing excess uric acid, inflammations like arthritis and rheumatism, heart problems, and hypertension. It helps those with altered glucose metabolism or diabetes reduce hypoglycemia, and it cleanses the liver and fights anemia. However, those with sensitive or irritable bowels should avoid excess strawberries or strawberry detox water.

Here are some recipes on how to make strawberry-infused water.

How Helpful are Detox Drinks?

Detox drinks are the latest craze for dieting and weight loss. Also known as infused drinks, detox drinks are simply clear water infused with fruits or vegetables. The nutritional goodness of fruits or vegetables dissolves into the water, making it healthier.

The taste plays a key role in detox drinks. Because they are so flavorful, people end up drinking more. This is beneficial because it increases the feeling of fullness, keeping hunger at bay. This results in less food intake throughout the day, promoting weight loss.

Water is the main ingredient of detox water. Drinking adequate amounts of water daily promotes good health. Good hydration of the body keeps it fit, enhances the texture of the skin, and helps in toxin release. Adding the wholesomeness of fruits and vegetables makes it a vital tool for overall good health and weight loss.

Other Benefits of Strawberry

Strawberries are exquisite, delicious fruits, packed with many health-benefiting nutrients. Studies have shown that eating strawberries boost the cardiovascular system, improve immunity, control blood sugar levels, and can even prevent cancer. Strawberries are rich in minerals and vitamins, and are abundant in an antioxidant called polyphenols. They contain about 92% water per volume, and provide more vitamin C than oranges. They also have a good amount of folate, calcium, iron, potassium, manganese, dietary fiber, and magnesium, which contribute to overall good health.

These aromatic red fruits have a negligible quantity of saturated fat, cholesterol, and sodium. The vitamin C present in strawberries helps keep the skin young and glowing, and also enhances the immune system. On the other hand, the antioxidants in them improve eyesight, prevent cancer, and help to reduce inflammation of the joints (e.g. arthritis). Minerals like potassium regulate blood pressure, and the fiber helps to stay clear of constipation.

Another good thing about strawberries is that they aid in weight management. These fruits are naturally fat-free, low in calories, and have no sodium. They contain about 4 grams per serving of sugar and the total carbohydrate content is less than a half slice of bread.

Strawberry-infused water benefits are numerous, especially strawberry detox water. Try any of the above strawberry detox water recipes and be slim and fit with a few sips every day.
