Underworld: Blood Wars Stars Kate Beckinsale, Theo James Look Super Fit in the Trailer: Fitness Secrets Revealed

Kate Beckinsale will reprise her role as Selene in Underworld: Blood Wars. The horror film is the fifth installment of the Underworld film series. Theo James will play David in the upcoming film, which is scheduled to release on Jan. 6, 2017.

Beckinsale, 43, looks magnetic enough to catch everyone’s eyes. Both stars look super fit in the trailer, and we have shared their fitness secrets for their fans.

Kate Beckinsale’s Diet

Beckinsale is said to stick to a 3-2-1 diet solution by celebrity trainer, Ramona Braganza. The English actress has three small meals, two snacks, and plenty of water. She ensures that she takes in plenty of complex carbs and proteins, which provide her body with all the necessary nutrients and keep her full for a longer duration. She always opts for clean and organic foods like green and leafy veggies, fruits, and lean proteins, and she avoids sugar, dairy, and high-carb foods. She indulges in pancakes and pastry cakes.

Her daily diet plan may look like the following: Breakfast – Hard-boiled eggs, omelet with onion and tomato, and oatmeal. Lunch – Chicken, mixed vegetable soup, veggie wrap, and steamed brown rice. Snacks – Popcorn, hummus, yogurt, kale chips, and walnuts. Dinner – Grilled fish, turkey, chicken, and beans.

Kate Beckinsale’s Workout Routine

Beckinsale reportedly hits the gym five times a week for high-intensity workouts that last for one hour. She follows a 3-2-1 workout routine where three stands for the amount of cardio sessions per workout, two for weight training circuits, and one for abs routine.

She allegedly prefers indoor workouts and does cardio workouts, circuit training, and core workouts. She also includes crunches, squats, and leg raises in her workout routine. She adores running on the treadmill for half an hour to stay in shape. Beckinsale does a variety of yoga poses to tone her butt, inner thighs, legs. The warrior pose, half-moon pose, and chair pose strengthen her muscles and leave her with a lean body.

Theo James Workout Routine

James’ workout is said to include cardio, light stretching and some training on proper striking. The proper striking training allegedly includes hammer-fist striking, elbow striking, punch striking, knee work, low kicks, and throws and falls.

James is very health conscious, as the young star knows the benefits of healthy eating. Unhealthy foods will hamper his health in the future; and so, he keeps away from such foods. His strength and physique have helped him land a number of challenging roles.

He reportedly eats nutrient-dense foods that are rich in proteins, healthy carbs, and other vitamins. He likes to eat fish, chicken, veggies, fruits, and rice. His way of hydration is having lots of water. He drinks healthy shakes to keep him away from indulgences but sometimes enjoys pizza and burgers in moderation.
