Mini Pizza Bites Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 tube pizza dough
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ¹⁄3 cup diced red onion
- ¹⁄3 cup diced chicken
- ¹⁄3 cup diced ham
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F and cover a flat surface with a plastic wrap and roll out the pizza dough on it.
With a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out dough hearts and place them on a lined baking sheet.
Spread tomato sauce on the dough hearts as required. Top with cheese, onions, and meat.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook until edges of dough are lightly browned, about 10 to 15 minutes. Remove them from the oven and rest for three to four minutes. Serve warm.
Easy Heart-Shaped Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 batch homemade pizza dough
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Pizza sauce
- Parmesan and Cheddar cheeses (optional)
- Toppings of choice (pepperoni, onions, tomatoes, olives, sausage, basil, etc.)
Directions
Cut the pizza dough into eight tennis ball size pieces. Roll each piece into a circle and then push in the top and pull down the bottom to resemble a heart. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
Grill the crusts at a temperature between 350 to 400°F for three minutes, or until crust puffs on top. Remove the crusts and place on a large platter.
Spread the pizza sauce on the crusts, add the toppings, and layer with cheese. Transfer back to the grill and cook until the the cheese sizzles, and the toppings are hot, about three to four minutes.
Remove the pizza from the grill and serve.
Valentine’s Day Pizza from Scratch Recipe
Ingredients:
- ½ teaspoon yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 3 ½ cups all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Pizza sauce
- Toppings of choice (black olives, oregano, red pepper, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, pepperoni, etc.)
Directions
For the dough, mix yeast and sugar. Add a cup of warm water and let it rest for 10 minutes. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour and knead the dough.
Apply some olive oil to the dough, cover with a cling film and let it rise for a couple of hours in a warm and dark place. While it rests, cut heart shapes out of the pepperoni.
Once the dough rises, push it down, dust it with flour and roll it. Let it rest for half an hour.
With a knife draw a heart shape and then cut it with a pizza cutter. Pierce the dough with a fork to prevent it from rising while baking.
Spread pizza sauce and top it with cut out pepperoni remains. Place the mozzarella slices on the pizza to form a heart shape within the pizza sauce.
Top it with the toppings and place the pepperoni hearts and olive. Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crust turns golden. Serve.
Chocolate Heart-Shaped Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- ¾ cup miniature marshmallows
- ¾ cup chopped salted peanuts
- ¾ cup crushed potato chips
- 2 tablespoons flaked coconut
- 7 maraschino cherries, halved
- ¼ cup milk chocolate M&M’s
- 2 tablespoons vanilla or white chips
- ½ teaspoon shortening
Directions
Cut out a big heart out of waxed paper.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Add in the marshmallows, peanuts, and potato chips. Spread the mixture on the heart-shaped sheet and sprinkle with coconut and top with M&M’s and cherries.
In another bowl, melt vanilla chips and shortening and drizzle it on top. Refrigerate for about one-and-a-half hours. Remove the waxed paper and let it stand for 10 minutes at room temperature.
Cherry-Chocolate Heart-Shaped Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup crisp rice cereal
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 3 cups vanilla or white chips, divided
- 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- ½ cup halved maraschino cherries, patted dry
- ¼ cup flaked coconut
Directions
Melt 2 ½ cups vanilla chips and the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Add marshmallows, cereal, and walnuts.
Spread the mixture on a greased pizza pan in shape of a heart and arrange cherries on top. Sprinkle with coconut.
Melt the vanilla chips in a microwave-safe bowl and add oil to it. Drizzle it over pizza. Chill until it sets. Serve.
