David Beckham’s wife Victoria Beckham stays fit with yoga, running, and a healthy diet. Ever since she hit the scene with the Spice Girls, Mrs. Beckham has always been petite— she’s even been ridiculed for her thin appearance.

Even now, the mother of four still manages to keep her small frame with the help of trainer Tracy Anderson, SoulCycle classes, plenty of cardio, and Barry’s bootcamp.

Beckham is no stranger to body-shaming comments. The media is always picking on her for how skinny she is, or ranting about how skinny the models she chooses for her runway show are. It seems that the majority of conversations surrounding the former singer-turned-designer are about body image.

Even this past year, comments ran faster than a river when it came to the models in her runway show. Many commented on how sick or ill the models looked, to the point where one models mother had to chime in to defend her daughter and let everyone know that she was naturally thin.

In the October issue of Vogue UK, Beckham opens up about her own body insecurities. She expressed to the magazine, “You are not the prettiest, or the thinnest, or the best at dancing at the Laine Theatre Arts College. You have never properly fitted in, although you are sharing your Surrey school digs with really nice girls. You have bad acne. You think the principal has put you at the back of the end-of-year show (in a humiliatingly bright purple Lycra leotard) because you are too plump to go at the front. (This may or may not be true.)”

As you can see, the fashionista has come a long way in working on accepting herself.

Victoria Beckham Fitness Routine and Diet Plan

When the Beckham’s head out to celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant David often chooses the steak, but Victoria opts for only steamed vegetables. Puck expressed that if you were to prepare a meal for Victoria, all you need is some steamed spinach with a touch of salt—sounds a bit extreme.

When she’s not eating at Puck’s restaurant, it’s been suggested that she enjoys grilled salmon, scrambled eggs, blueberry smoothies; she also tries to reduce her intake of salt and sugar as much as she can.

Beckham is known to work out six days a week, which includes running on a treadmill or outdoors along with athletic sports—which are known not only to tone the body but shed a crazy number of calories too.

Beckham wasn’t always so hardcore with her workouts. It was only until she moved to LA that she become conscious of her body image and began exercising on the regular. Furthermore, she has admitted that marrying one of the world’s top athlete’s adds motivation for her to look her best.

Victoria Beckham has moved her way up the ranks as a top designer and her iconic look is easily recognizable. She works incredibly hard to maintain a body which only now she feels somewhat comfortable in.

Even if people continue to pass judgment on her and her looks, Beckham is living her life her way and doing what makes her the happiest, all with her hunky husband by her side.
