Karlie Kloss is the epitome of a fashion model, and so is her pal Kendal Jenner. Both stunning models were seen hanging out at the Lakers basketball game flaunting their incredible figures. Kloss has an enviable physique—she is long and lean and still strong and muscular without looking too bulky. She’s blessed with some good genes, but she also performs a regular workout and follows a balanced diet.
The Karlie Kloss Diet and Workout
Karlie Kloss sometimes follows a vegan diet that is rich in vitamins and minerals. She is a self-professed snacker as she is often hungry throughout the day. She sticks with foods like vegetables, fruit, and lean protein from plant sources. Her snacks are often nuts like almonds, granola bars, apples, or even some dark chocolate.
She likes to start off her day with a healthy breakfast, and sometimes that means making herself a nutritious smoothie. She often adds a cupful of blackberries, a banana, a spoonful of cocoa powder, and unsweetened almond milk. Other times for breakfast, Kloss eats egg whites, yogurt, cereal, crepes, or pancakes. She likes to mix things up so she’s never bored with food choices—this also allows her to eat foods she loves in moderation.
She also likes to eat healthy meals that contain fish and a lot of vegetables. When she is preparing to walk the runaway, or get ready for a photo shoot, Kloss tries to avoid sweets and sugar. This can sometimes be hard because she has a total sweet tooth—she even came out with her own line of cookies because she loves them so much! She admits that balance is important and that indulging in some of your favorite foods is what makes life enjoyable. She believes in eating reasonably well (which means sticking with healthy foods most the time) and exercising, and still allows herself to indulge! She doesn’t believe in starving oneself or feeling guilty about treating yourself to some cheat foods.
The workout Kloss follows includes swimming, hiking, running, and even biking. She is a huge fan of outdoor workouts and has been sporty since she was young. She goes to the gym five times a week and works with fitness trainer Traci Copeland. She does lots of cardio workouts and strength training to build her long and lean muscles.
Kloss is also trained as a professional ballerina and maintains her toned figure with lots of dance—this also helps her good posture and impressive flexibility. She also credits ballet for boosting her balance, strength, and lengthiness. In addition to dancing, Kloss also does Pilates and yoga workouts which have worked wonders for strengthening her core. Along with many other celebrities, she enjoys SoulCycle workouts as they help her work up a sweat and burn tons of calories.
To keep a positive and clear mind, Kloss likes to meditate for 15 minutes a day. This helps her to de-stress and maintain her positive mood.
