Ring or no ring, Laura Prepon is worth talking about from a fitness and weight loss perspective. After getting her Hollywood start on the long-running series That 70’s Show, Prepon’s made healthy eating a major priority. She’s tried all kinds of diets and knows what works and what doesn’t—so here are her health secrets.

Laura Prepon Eats Right with Smart Planning

After watching her weight fluctuate while trying all kinds of diets, Prepon gravitated to the Stash diet. The Stash diet is basically a fancy way of packaging an eating style lots of fitness types have done for years: bulk-cooking your meals. The Stash diet involves two big weekly cooking sessions, then stashing your food in the fridge to eat throughout the week.

Some of Prepon’s go-to items are things like free-range organic chicken, gluten-free breads, brown rice, fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as healthy fats like avocado and nuts. Dieting for Lifestyle

Laura Prepon also lives an active lifestyle featuring a variety of workouts that are fuelled by a healthy diet. In addition to hitting the gym at least five times a week to do spinning, Pilates, or weight training, the Orange Is the New Black star stays fit by going for runs with her 135-pound dog!

It’s impossible to workout as much as Prepon does without eating enough or getting the right kinds of calories. Her diet consists of lean, organic proteins, fruits and vegetables, legumes, healthy fats, and gluten-free grains that provide optimal nutrition for a lean physique and active lifestyle.

Her healthy eating habits ensure that she gets the most out of her exercise and experiences the best results possible. After all, you can only get out of a diet or workout routine what you put in—which, when it gets right down to the foundation, is the food you pick.
