The holiday season is coming to an end and it’s time to ring in a new year. Sometimes it can be hard to find stores that are open on New Year’s Eve to run those last-minute errands. Don’t worry, though. Target is open. Along with Target hours, here is a list of hours for other stores that are open, too.
What’s Open on New Year’s Eve 2016
Here is a list of grocery stores open beyond 5 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, for any last-minute snacks or other items you need to ring in the New Year.
- Trader Joe’s: Open till 6 p.m.
- Costco: Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Whole Foods: Open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Albertsons: Open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Publix: Open till 9 p.m.
- Aldi: Open till 7 p.m.
- BJ’s Wholesale Club: Open till 6 p.m.
Retail stores are open on New Year’s Eve, too, so you’re in luck if you waited till the last minute to find the perfect outfit for your new year’s party. They are:
- Walmart: Open till 8 p.m.
- Target: Open till 9 p.m.
- Best Buy: Open till 9 p.m.
- Macy’s: Open till 7 p.m.
- Kohl’s: Open till 9 p.m.
- Home Depot: Open till 6 p.m.
- JCPenney: Open till 9:30 p.m.
- Kmart: Open till 10 p.m.
- Dollar General: Check nearest location for their hours.
Some stores are even open all night, if you can believe it. The stores listed below are open 24/7, even on New Year’s Eve:
- 7-Eleven
- Walmart Supercenters
- CVS
- Rite Aid
- Walgreens/Duane Reade
- Circle K
Ring in the new year exactly how you want to and head to any of the above-mentioned stores for your last-minute needs. Whether it’s food, snacks, party decorations, an outfit, music and electronics, or candles, these stores have you covered.
