1789 Restaurant: 1789 Restaurant will showcase its version of the classic eggnog this holiday season, and you won’t want to miss it. Guests can enjoy a classic eggnog ($13.00), which will be available from December 1 to 31. The drink is made with milk, egg yolks, cream, sugar, nutmeg, rum extract, almond extract, and cloves. It is served chilled and topped with some freshly-grated nutmeg.

Miracle on Seventh Street: Last year this place was buzzing and had some really popular drinks. You will find the Eggnog Shot ($5.00) at Miracle on Seventh Street. Guests can also take home the shot glass for an additional $5.00. Last year the bartenders served around 1,000 cocktails per night and they expect this amount to triple this year.

Bibiana Osteria & Enoteca: Bibiana has created 25 new seasonally-inspired cocktails, which will be available during December. Offerings include an Eggnog with a Twist ($12.00) that includes Buffalo Trace bourbon, Pedro Ximénez sherry, Bénédictine, and grated nutmeg. Guests can also enjoy ginger cookies.

Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery: The Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery is all set to serve their guests with some new holiday cocktails. Bayounog and Naughty Nog are available every year at Bayou Bakery. Bayounog is available by the quart to take home ($16.00), or by the glass ($4.50). Diners can also opt for a glass of Naughty Nog with bourbon ($7.00).

Bidwell: Bidwell serves guests a no-frills version of eggnog with egg yolks, milk, cream, sugar, egg whites, and a pinch of salt. Guests can order the non-alcoholic version ($6.00) or with rum or bourbon ($13.00).

Del Frisco’s Grille: Del Frisco’s Grille has come up with a modern version of eggnog. Chocoholics can enjoy Del Frisco’s cocktail which blends eggnog with Godiva. The Chocolate Eggnog Martini ($12.00) is a mix of Stoli Vanil vodka, Godiva Dark Chocolate Liqueur, eggnog, and shaved chocolate.

Jardenea: Jardenea Lounge a chic, art-deco inspired restaurant offering guests a Spiced Nog ($12.00) this holiday season. This is a blend of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and eggnog, topped with whipped cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

BLT Steak: For guests who are looking for variation on eggnog can head to BLT Steak. Diners can enjoy the Tom and Jerry ($16.00). This holiday drink was popular during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It features a thick, whipped eggnog-like base that is thinned with hot milk or water. BLT Steak’s version is served in an Irish coffee mug with Hennessy VS cognac, Don Q Añejo rum, hot milk, and nutmeg.

The Riggsby: The bar team at The Riggsby has come up with an interesting eggnog version, the Eggnog Allen Poe ($12.00). Apparently, Edgar Allen Poe was a big fan of eggnog, and the inspired drink is a combination of Zacapa rum, Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal cognac, and Wild Turkey 101 bourbon, plus cream, half and half, and milk infused with vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The mixture is then aged for six weeks at a specific temperature. As this is a limited quantity batch, it will be available until they run out.

Trummer’s on Main: Trummer’s On Main will be celebrating the 12 Days of Holiday Cocktails starting December 10. Guests can enjoy the new cocktails and try out featured drinks like a flight of three eggnogs ($12.00). There’s also a Chocolate Eggnog with dark Valrhona chocolate and aged rum. A Tres Leches Eggnog with coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, and brandy. Also available is Grandma’s Classic Eggnog, which is a secret recipe.
