War Dogs actor Jonah Hill has been dramatically slimming down. Joining the body conscious bandwagon, Hill’s weight loss journey is inspiring. Hill’s brilliant looks can be attributed to his Japanese diet. He is extremely fit due to his new focus on working out and dieting.

It is amazing to see Hill work towards his various roles, which he is always gaining and losing weight for. His weight loss in Moneyball reflects his change in mindset. A change of habits and diet can do wonders.

Jonah Hill Japanese Diet

Weight loss and an increase in confidence seems to go hand in hand. Naturally, you feel better when your body looks how you want it to. Hill’s amazing weight loss journey is a testament to this. With increased confidence and faith in his self, he was able to lose the weight and keep it off for good.

Hill started off by consulting a nutritionist; he admitted that beer was his weakness and also attributed his weight gain to the beverage.  

Hill’s diet incorporates a lot of Japanese food—sushi is rich in omega-3s and selenium, which both have amazing health benefits. Sushi is low in calories and incorporating it into your diet can be a good idea. The War Dogs star followed something similar to the Atkins diet, which is low on carbs.

He also incorporated foods suggested by his nutritionist, which included fruits, lean protein, and low fat dairy products.

As they say, the body reflects the mind: regular counselling helped Hill to stay away from unhealthy food cravings. Unhealthy food combinations like pizza, which is loaded with cheese, can lead to bloating.

Maintaining gaps of around an hour between meals and consuming fruits can avoid this. Knowing and having the right food combos can help with weight loss. It is important to make healthy food choices and consume nutrient loaded foods.

Jonah Hill Workout Routine

A nutrient packed diet needs to be backed by regular workouts. Hill started exercising with an agile routine of light workouts. As an amateur, he started off with running, sit-ups, and push-ups. Hiring a fitness instructor helped him systematize his weight loss journey.

He gradually went in for mild workouts that suited his stamina and endurance. Later, he moved on to exhaustive workouts that he could easily perform. This exercise alignment helped him strengthen muscles and get his dramatic body.
