Ripped Zac Efron is all set to woo his fans with his upcoming action comedy film, Baywatch, directed by Seth Gordon, which will be hitting the theaters on May 26, 2017. The film stars Dwayne Johnson who is popularly known by his nickname, The Rock. The Rock has countless fan followers fawning over his incredibly ripped and chiseled physique.
But, what seems to be making more waves is Efron’s stellar body and well-toned abs. The actor recently took to Instagram and posted and image captioned with “@therock I know what you’re up to, big guy- I’m hopping on the cookie train. [sic]”
Efron underwent an intense training for Baywatch and has been proudly flaunting his ripped body on Instagram. This recent photograph hints at his cookie indulgence.
The photo resonates the holiday spirit and Efron looks content with the cookie collection.
The actor has been posting updates on his upcoming film. He posted this photograph and captioned, “Whaaat?!?! Our trailer is the #1 Comedy Trailer of the year? Thanks for the #Baywatch love!! Makes me want to slo-mo hug all of you. [sic]” Fans are excited about the forthcoming film and are looking forward to the film’s release.

Zac Efron’s Workout Regimen for Baywatch Body
Efron followed a grueling workout routine. His workout routine included exercises, such as tire flipping. He took to Instagram and posted, “‘Blood, sweat and respect. The first two you give, the last one you earn.’ Learned that from @therock who I happened to get in a tire flipping race with on #Baywatch. Needless to say I lost this one – come at me on the 50 yard dash and we’ll see what happens, Sasquatch 😉 [sic]”
He was trained by Patrick Murphy, who revealed that Efron’s workout routine was constantly evolving. To fit the role of a lifeguard, Efron, performed grueling exercises to build his speed, agility, and muscle mass.
His workout routine included a three-day split, workouts for back and biceps, exercises for legs, shoulders, chest, and arms. His abs workout helped with toning his abs.
He posted on Instagram, “Nothing like a little #NinjaWarrior training to start the day. Months and months of training for this moment… Bring it on @therock let’s do this ALL DAY baby! #Baywatch #nowiresneeded. [sic]”
As a part of his weight training, the actor performed a super-set of two exercises back to back with no rest in between the exercises. This helped to double cardio, burn calories, and help the growth of muscles. Murphy said that with 12 weeks of training, Efron had reached cut down his body fat to just five percent. Here is a sample workout regimen that can help achieve weight loss goals:
Day One: Perform straight-arm pull-down, and include ab wheel roll-out, seated cable row, dumbbell biceps curl, and suspended row. Also, include the lateral pull-down from knees, chin-up, and neutral grip pull-up.
Day Two: Perform suspension squat jumps, leg presses, reverse walking lunges, and mountain climbers on sliders. Also include, suspension trainer single-leg squat hop, Swiss ball hip extension, dumbbell Romanian dead-lift, kick butts, Swiss ball leg curl, and unstable single-leg calf raise.
Day Three: Perform cross-body cable raise, dumbbell floor press, dumbbell front raise, and push-ups. Also include single-arm push-down, single-arm curl, incline dumbbell press, dumbbell overhead press, cable chest press, and bosu plyometric push-ups.
For best results, perform each of the workouts (for day one, two, and three) once per week with a day’s rest between each of the session.
Efron’s costar, The Rock, was amazed by his hard work and said, “On a side discipline note juuuuuust wait til you see the insane shape my boy Efron got in for our movie. [sic]”
Zac Efron’s Diet Plan
Zac Efron has been following a healthy diet plan. He also took to Twitter and tweeted, “9 days of absolutely zero carbs & sugar. Only organic grass fed/free range protein and organic leafy greens. [sic]”
Zac Efron posted his meal plan on Instagram. He posted this photograph and captioned it, “When your calendar is edible.”
His diet plan consists of a nutritious and heavy breakfast that includes eggs and oats. He avoids junk foods and additional sugar and fat, but, has his cheat days. He tweeted, “#Cheatday ! Devoured a steak, 4 side potatoes/veggies, macncheese, 3 desserts, bread/butter, brick o cheese & caviar. [sic]”
His diet plan is comprised of 3,000 to 4,000 calories a day, which include an intake of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken, and other lean meats. He also uses ZEN (Zero Effort Nutrition) Food’s diet plan.
